General provisions
These general conditions of sale govern the relationship between Antique Blades Store d.o.o. (the "company") and the customer in the online store www.antiquebladesstore.com. By confirming an order, the customer confirms having read and accepted these conditions.
The site is available in Croatian and English. Use of the site and purchasing are reserved for adults (18+).
Prices
All prices are stated in euros (€) and include VAT. Shipping costs are not included in the product price and are shown during checkout and in the order summary.
The company may change prices at any time; orders already confirmed are honoured at the price valid at the time of ordering. In the event of an obvious pricing error, the company reserves the right to cancel the sale, notifying the customer and refunding any amount paid.
Ordering and conclusion of the contract
Orders are concluded at a distance over the internet. When ordering, the customer identifies themselves by completing the order form; the data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Before confirming, the customer reviews the contents of the order and its total cost (products, shipping) and corrects any errors. Final confirmation of the order together with acceptance of these conditions constitutes the conclusion of a distance contract under Croatian consumer protection and e-commerce law. An order confirmation with the contractual information is sent to the customer by e-mail.
Computer records kept on the servers of the company and its payment providers are considered rebuttable evidence of the communications, orders and payments between the parties.
Payment methods
- card payment (processed by an authorised payment provider; card details are transmitted encrypted and are never stored on our servers)
- bank transfer, for Croatia, EU countries and other countries
Where card payment is chosen, the order is finally confirmed upon successful charge. For bank transfer, goods are dispatched upon receipt of the full price in the company's account.
Transfer of ownership and risk
Delivered products remain the property of the company until the full price has been received (retention of title). The risk of accidental loss or damage passes to the customer upon delivery of the goods.
Nature of the items
All items in our catalogue are pre-owned (antiques) unless stated otherwise. Each item is accompanied by a description and photographs presenting it as faithfully as possible; perfect colour accuracy cannot be guaranteed. Items are sold as-is, true to their description and photographs.
Legal provisions concerning weapons
The company sells, buys or exchanges exclusively category D edged weapons (historic and collector's weapons) for collecting purposes, in accordance with the Croatian Act on the Acquisition and Possession of Weapons by Citizens (Official Gazette 94/18, 42/20, 114/22), under which category D weapons do not require registration.
The buyer is deemed to know the laws applicable in their own country concerning the purchase, possession, carrying and transport of these items and is solely responsible for complying with them. The company accepts no liability for the use of the items sold or for any damage caused to the buyer or third parties by their use. Purchases by persons under 18 are not permitted.
Intellectual property
All elements of the site (photographs, texts, logos, design, software) are protected by copyright and are the property of the company. Any reproduction, distribution or exploitation of the site's content, in whole or in part, without the company's prior written consent is prohibited. Governing law and disputes
These conditions are governed by Croatian law, in accordance with European Union legislation. In the event of a dispute, the parties will favour an amicable resolution.
Consumers may use out-of-court mechanisms for resolving consumer disputes, including proceedings before the Court of Honour of the Croatian Chamber of Economy or mediation at its Mediation Centre. For disputes with customers who are not consumers, the Commercial Court in Bjelovar has jurisdiction; for consumer disputes, jurisdiction is determined by the applicable consumer protection rules.
